Drivers License Reinstatement in Oklahoma Information The Department of Public Safety should send you a letter shortly after your arrest. The letter includes the following information:
  • Reinstatement Fee
  • Duration of Suspension
  • Instructions on how to Reinstate your License
To get back on track, you must have an Alcohol/Drug Assessment and should be evaluated by a Counselor/Professional certified by the Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services. You will then be given a set of recommendations in which you are obliged to follow. These recommendations are needed to help you recover and improve your driving capabilities and license.

This includes but not limited to:

  • 10 – Hour Alcohol & Drug Substance Abuse Course (ADSAC)
  • 24 – Hour Alcohol & Drug Substance Abuse Course (ADSAC)
  • Victims Impact Panel
  • Intensive Out-Patient Treatment
  • Alcoholics Anonymous/ Narcotics Anonymous Meetings
  • Residential Treatment
After completing the set of recommendations, you should now have your Certificate of Completion. Present your Certificate of Completion to your Counselor. Your Counselor will then be giving you an Official Certificate, with a dry seal and red stamp, indicating the date of accomplishment. Submit (in person) the Official Certificate to the Department of Public Safety and pay your Reinstatement Fee. Note: You can do this AFTER your suspension has been lifted.
